Terms & Conditions
Read the terms for using the HUF website, booking tickets and attending Human Upgrade Fest events.
1. Who organises HUF
The Human Upgrade Fest, also called HUF, is operated by [LEGAL ENTITY NAME], with its registered address at [REGISTERED ADDRESS]. In these terms, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to that entity. Contact us at connect@thehumanupgradefest.com.
2. What these terms cover
These terms cover our website and attendance at HUF events. Each city edition has its own date, venue, programme, ticket inclusions and entry conditions. The details shown for your edition at the time of booking form part of your booking. An exhibitor, sponsor or contributor also needs a separate written agreement.
3. Your booking
Check the edition, date, ticket type, inclusions and total price before paying. Give accurate booking details and use a payment method you are authorised to use. A booking is confirmed only when the official booking service issues a confirmation and valid ticket. An enquiry, application or update-list signup does not reserve entry.
4. Prices and third-party checkout
The checkout must show the total price, taxes and mandatory fees before payment. Any optional purchase needs your express choice. If a ticketing partner processes your order, its payment and platform terms also apply. Those terms do not remove the event obligations we owe you.
5. Tickets and admission
Use the official ticket link on our website. Keep your ticket code private. Admission requires a valid ticket for the correct edition and compliance with the age and identification rules shown before booking. Duplicate, altered or unauthorised resale tickets are not valid. Transfers are handled under the Refund Policy.
6. Access to sessions and experiences
Your ticket includes only the access and benefits expressly listed for your ticket type. Individual sessions and experiences have their own capacity, suitability and booking requirements. Unless specifically included, tests, consultations, treatments, food, products and travel are separate purchases. A speaker listing does not promise a private meeting or consultation.
7. Changes, cancellations and refunds
Read the Refund Policy before booking. It explains visitor cancellations, transfers, event cancellation and significant changes. We will notify affected ticket holders using their booking contact details. Emergency, weather, venue or other circumstances outside our control do not automatically remove the refund rights described in that policy or required by law.
8. Health information and outcomes
HUF provides a setting for general education and discussion. It does not diagnose, prescribe or promise improvements in health, lifespan, appearance or performance. Do not treat event content as personal medical advice. Read the Health Disclaimer before participating in any health-related activity.
9. Speakers, researchers and personal views
Speakers and contributors are responsible for the statements, research interpretations, advice and personal experiences they present. Their views are their own unless expressly identified as HUF’s position. Participation in the programme does not mean that HUF independently verifies or endorses every claim. HUF remains responsible for its own statements and event obligations.
10. Exhibitor products and services
An exhibitor or independent provider is responsible for its own products, services, professional qualifications, permissions, consent process, pricing, warranties and claims. Check these directly before purchasing or participating. Your purchase or service agreement is with the provider identified on the receipt or consent form. Tell HUF about unsafe conduct or misleading claims at the event so we can assess the event issue.
11. Personal belongings
Keep your belongings with you. Attendees are responsible for looking after their phones, bags, wallets and other items. Exhibitors are responsible for their stock, equipment, display materials and staff belongings. HUF does not provide custody or insurance for these items unless expressly agreed in writing. We do not accept responsibility for loss or damage solely because it occurs at the venue. This does not exclude responsibility arising from our own fault or a duty the law does not allow us to exclude.
12. Conduct and security
Treat staff, visitors and contributors respectfully. Follow reasonable safety instructions, access restrictions and venue rules disclosed for the edition. Threats, harassment, violence, unauthorised selling and unsafe behaviour are not permitted. Security staff are authorised to conduct lawful entry checks and respond to a credible safety concern. Any refusal of entry or removal must be based on a reasonable, lawful ground.
13. Photography, filming and CCTV
Promotional photography and security CCTV have different purposes. Read the Photography & Filming page, Privacy Policy and notices at the venue. Buying a ticket does not give us unlimited permission to use a private conversation, medical interaction or personal testimonial.
14. Website and event materials
HUF branding and materials belong to their respective owners. Do not copy, sell, alter or commercially distribute them without permission. Speakers and exhibitors retain rights in their own materials. Do not impersonate HUF, interfere with the website, misuse forms or attempt unauthorised access. Ordinary personal use and any rights granted by law remain unaffected.
15. Responsibility and legal rights
Nothing in these terms excludes liability for fraud, wilful misconduct, death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or any responsibility that applicable law does not permit us to exclude. We remain responsible for our own legal duties. These terms do not remove consumer remedies or other mandatory rights. Responsibility for any loss will be assessed under applicable law and the circumstances, including who caused it.
16. Complaints
Send complaints to connect@thehumanupgradefest.com with your booking reference and a clear description of the issue. Our grievance contact is [NAME AND DESIGNATION], at [GRIEVANCE EMAIL AND ADDRESS]. We acknowledge complaints within 48 hours and aim to resolve them within one month, or sooner where the law requires. We will explain any next steps if more information is needed.
17. Applicable law
Indian law governs these terms. You retain the right to approach any consumer commission, court or other authority with jurisdiction under applicable law. Contacting us first is encouraged, but it is not a condition that removes a legal remedy.
18. Changes to these terms
We will date updated terms when published. The version accepted when you book applies to that booking, except changes required by law or changes you expressly agree to. If one provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply to the extent permitted by law.
