Health Disclaimer

Understand the limits of health information, speaker views and third-party experiences at HUF. No medical or performance results are guaranteed.

1. Scope

This disclaimer applies to HUF website content, event sessions, demonstrations and event-related materials. It should be read with the Terms & Conditions.

2. Education, not individual treatment

HUF is an event platform. Its general content does not diagnose a condition, prescribe a treatment or replace advice from a qualified healthcare professional who knows your circumstances. Attending a talk or asking a question does not create a clinician-patient relationship with HUF.

3. No promised results

HUF does not guarantee a longer life or any improvement in health, fitness, appearance, recovery, mental wellbeing or performance. An individual story, before-and-after image, research result or demonstration does not establish the outcome you will experience.

4. Speaker and researcher responsibility

Speakers, researchers, hosts and contributors are responsible for the accuracy and fairness of their own statements, the interpretation of their work and disclosure of relevant interests. Opinions and personal experiences belong to the person expressing them. HUF does not adopt those statements as its own merely by hosting them.

5. Different types of evidence

Established clinical practice, emerging research, traditional approaches and commercial products are different categories. Their presence in the same event does not mean they have the same evidence or regulatory status. Ask what supports a claim, how strong the evidence is and what remains uncertain.

6. Independent providers

A provider offering a test, consultation, treatment, sample or demonstration must explain what it involves, who is eligible, its risks, costs and consent requirements. The provider is responsible for its professional work and applicable permissions. Check its identity and qualifications before agreeing to a service. HUF remains responsible for its own event duties.

7. Your choice to participate

Participation in an experience is voluntary. Do not take part unless the provider has answered your questions and you understand the activity. Tell the provider about information relevant to safe participation through its private consent process. Stop and alert the provider if you feel unwell or uncomfortable.

8. Your ongoing care

Do not start, stop or change prescribed care because of event content alone. Speak to your treating professional about a change you are considering. For an urgent health concern, seek immediate assistance from an appropriate emergency service or healthcare professional.

9. Products, supplements and food

Ask the seller about ingredients, allergens, restrictions, evidence and interactions before using or tasting a product. A product offered at HUF is not certified safe or effective by HUF solely because it appears at the event.

10. Research and data collection

A festival ticket is not consent to a research study, biological sample collection or medical procedure. Any legitimate study or clinical activity needs its own applicable approvals, qualified oversight, participant information and separate informed consent. HUF branding is not evidence of those approvals.

11. Commercial interests

Speakers and exhibitors must disclose relevant ownership, sponsorship or commercial relationships. Sponsorship and exhibitor participation do not constitute HUF medical endorsement.

12. Raise a concern

If you encounter an unsafe activity or a claim that concerns you, speak to the event help desk or email connect@thehumanupgradefest.com. Include the provider, session and details of the concern. Do not send medical records through the general enquiry form.

13. Legal rights

This disclaimer explains the limits of event content. It does not excuse fraud, unsafe conduct, negligence or any duty that applicable law does not permit a person or organisation to exclude.
